Four HCA Midwest Health hospitals – Research Medical Center, Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Centerpoint Medical Center and Menorah Medical Center – are named to the 2026 Top Hospitals List, recognized across multiple specialties and procedures. 

HCA Midwest Health, Kansas City’s leading healthcare provider, announced today that four of its hospitals are named to the 2026 Top Hospitals List by Castle Connolly for performance across multiple areas of care. Research Medical Center, Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Centerpoint Medical Center and Menorah Medical Center are among 1,663 hospitals nationwide recognized for excellence in one or more of six specialties and 19 procedures, according to Castle Connolly. This recognition reflects the focus and consistency required to deliver strong outcomes in surgical and specialty care.

This news follows HCA Midwest Health earning the most 2026 Patient Safety Excellence Awards™ from Healthgrades of any health system in the region for five consecutive years (2022 – 2026), placing its hospitals in the top 5% nationwide for patient safety. Research Medical Center achieved seven consecutive years (2020 – 2026) of this recognition, while Centerpoint Medical Center and Menorah Medical Center earned nine consecutive years (2018 – 2026).
